YouTube launches its first ever video ads awards in PH

It is a fact that aside from viewing popular videos shared by vloggers, influencers, and content producers, YouTube users also pay attention to the video ads that are strategically posted in the video-sharing network.

Google Philippines regularly releases YouTube Ads Leaderboard every six months to reveal the most popular locally produced video ads in the platform. In July, the eighth Leaderboard in the Philippines was released.

To further recognize the creative passion in storytelling of local video ads, YouTube has recently launched the Philippines’ first ever YouTube Ads Awards. The aim is to commend digital ads that feature outstanding storytelling that resonates with viewers in the country.

The awards would highlight the challenging tasks for brands, creators, and ad agencies in telling stories that will catch the interest of YouTube viewers in an evolving landscape, wherein audiences’ attention is easily disrupted online.

Google Philippines’ Country Marketing Manager Gabby Roxas
