National Bookstore customers have something to celebrate these days despite the ongoing enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in Metro Manila, the entire Luzon, and other provinces.
The country’s total bookstore started accepting orders for delivery or pickup on May 4, 2020. On its online collaterals, National Bookstore announced that its customers can now conveniently shop for safety essentials, school and office supplies, books, and other items through its official website and its official stores in e-commerce portals Lazada and Shopee.
In areas outside the National Capital Region that are in general community quarantine (GCQ), some National Bookstore branches have already re-opened physically, though observing physical distancing and other precautionary measures within stores to ensure the safety of everyone.
In Metro Manila, the company has strategically opened four of its megastores to cover all cities across the metropolis. All areas in the metro are assigned in one of those four stores. To know where you could place your orders based on your area, check out this table:

To check out available items and book titles, check out the National Bookstore website, then contact the corresponding number assigned to your area to initiate the transaction. Payments are facilitated online or electronically and must be completed before the orders are processed. The assigned store will confirm the schedule for pickup or delivery.
Aside from National Bookstore’s own delivery facility, customers can also opt to pick up their orders from the assigned stores or arrange for third-party on-demand delivery service.
This operational arrangement may last until ECQ is lifted or until the company’s further notice. There is no minimum purchase requirement.
