Clorox PH gives work-essential care packages to 10,000 J&T Express riders

Clorox Philippines has given away care boxes to about 10,000 riders across the country of logistics company J&T Express. The packages include Clorox Expert Disinfecting Wipes, Prestone Brake Fluid, and Prestone Coolant—items that the recipients could use to ensure safe and germ-free deliveries.

“We recognize the important role J&T Express’ many riders play in not only keeping the flow of goods and services uninterrupted but also in keeping economic activity going,” said Clorox Southeast Asia Marketing Manager Monique Gonzales. “This is our way of paying tribute to these economic frontliners because of the tireless work they perform.”

Through this partnership, Clorox recognizes the important service rendered by delivery riders and staff who continue to serve the public. The company also backs the courier firm’s ‘J&T Heroes’ award, which pays tribute to J&T riders.

“We thank Clorox for their support in recognizing and rewarding our many couriers and riders in these challenging times,” said J&T Express Philippines Vice President Zoe Chi. “We at J&T Express Philippines value the work Clorox does to ensure the health and safety of the public by guaranteeing that our couriers are also safe so they can continue to do their duties and help maintain the country’s economic activity.”

Clorox continues to urge Filipinos to keep on following health protocols during the pandemic. “While the national government is doing its part to contain the Covid-19 infection, we, at home together with other institutions, must do our part in keeping and promoting hygienic and safer public spaces by regularly cleaning and disinfecting our surroundings,” said Clorox Southeast Asia Sales and Marketing Director Paulo Lao.

The partnership is still in line with Clorox International’s Safer Today Program. Through the initiative, the company works with local government units, healthcare providers, hospitals, and transport firms to help keep the public safe from the virus so the country could move forward.
