Downy has bagged multiple recognitions in the prestigious PANAta Brand Building Awards 2021 of the Philippine Association of National Advertisers (PANA).
The fabric softener brand of Procter & Gamble Philippines scored a Gold Award in People’s Choice for Excellence in Brand Positioning and a Bronze Award at the same time for Excellence in Marketing Innovation for its Bahayrus campaign, which was launched in November 2020.
The Downy X BTS collaboration campaign also bagged the Bronze Award in the Gawad Pandayon Creative Effectiveness category.
Lastly, Mariel Chavez, Downy’s Brand Director, was recognized by the industry as the PANA Brand Builder of the Year. Chavez is leading the brand’s effective campaigns, which helped grow the business even during the pandemic.

With this year’s theme ‘Hilaraya,’ the PANAta Awards is the premiere brand-building awards body in the country. It recognizes effective marketing communication campaigns that responsibly build brands, grow businesses, and help communities.
