Gerald Anderson takes role as ASUS ZenFone Max Plus brand ambassador

ASUS Philippines had two surprising revelations during the recent Philippine launch of the ZenFone Max Plus. Aside from the unveiling and formal release of the newest ‘battery king’ smartphone in the local market, the giant technology firm also named TV-movie actor Gerald Anderson as the brand ambassador of the new device.

Known as the ‘action drama prince’ of the local entertainment industry, Anderson is among the most prominent and well-respected actors of his generation. He is also noted for his unparalleled passion in every project or activity he does, making him more than qualified to be the new ‘hero’ representing the new smartphone in every action-packed adventure its users may take.

“To usher it (ZenFone Max Plus) in with someone as incredibly talented and passionate as Mr. Anderson makes this whole experience even more exciting,” said ASUS Philippines Product Marketer for Smartphones Francis Garcia.

Longer lasting performance
Anderson raves about the longer battery life of ASUS ZenFone Max Plus (M1). The new device comes with 4,130mAH high capacity battery that can amazingly last up to 26 hours on continuous 3G talk time, up to 26 hours on standby mode, and up to 21 hours of continuous online browsing.

“You wouldn’t want to experience a smartphone that loses its juice easily,” the 28-year-old heartthrob said. “We’re always on our phones, and when they drain fast, it gets tedious to recharge. The ZenFone Max Plus is very convenient and efficient. This is definitely a winner.”

More to rave about
At the same time, Anderson raves about the smartphone’s display innovation—the 18:9 Full View Full HD + Display, which is perfect for streaming and playing videos and movies. “The combination of big battery and big display is the best for me—practical and less strenuous,” he declared.

Interestingly, Anderson is the newest brand ambassador joining the growing list of celebrities who endorse the ZenFone brand. That roster includes his rumored girlfriend, TV-movie actress and ‘Philippine movie queen’ Bea Alonzo, who was launched as ZenFone 4 and ZenFone 4 Selfie Series brand ambassador in August 2017.

Anderson started his career in local show business in 2006 when he was included as among the teen housemates in the franchised TV reality show Pinoy Big Brother. After that 42-day-stint, he topbilled several blockbuster movies and high-rating TV series in Philippine TV network ABS-CBN. He has also bagged numerous acting recognition from various local award-giving bodies. Anderson remains as one of the most distinguished, popular, and bankable actors in the country.
