Lenovo is kicking off the holiday season with a bang! The global tech company has partnered with the Grammy-nominated and multi-platinum artists Jonas Brothers for a free and interactive music performance that will be streamed simultaneously to the group’s fans all over the world.
This virtual concert will stream live on Friday, December 4, 2020—at 8 a.m. in the Philippines and Hong Kong (December 3, 7 p.m. ET). The concert will be streamed on the Jonas Brothers YouTube channel. It will leverage the latest in music entertainment technology and the creativity to bring such an extraordinary spectacle to Lenovo fans.
“2020 has been quite the year. Together yet apart, we’re ending the year with a collection of masks, an in-depth acquaintance with our homes, and a new appreciation for connecting with each other around the world,” Lenovo said in in its press release. “We can’t thank you enough for your dedication and perseverance to keep Lenovo running—and we’d like to give back to you.”
The Jonas Brothers’ performance is powered by Lenovo Yoga and the Intel Evo platform. In October, Lenovo and Intel Evo asked creators to submit custom artwork that could be featured on the official concert poster as well as concert visuals that could be used during the performance. Thus, the concert will be “fueled by fan creativity.”
To add more interest, the Jonas Brothers’ performance will feature additional bonus content and elevate live interactive technology for all to participate:
• Through live comments, you can air your piece in the chat.
• The smarter performance allows you to vote for the order of the set list in real-time.
• Use the event’s special AR filter to strike a selfie pose and share with your friends using the hashtag #WeAreLenovo.
• The band will perform their final encore track with the #ForAllCreators contest winner entries integrated straight into the show.
During the performance, fans can also purchase the winning limited-edition fan merchandise design, with all the proceeds benefiting Feeding America.
