Lysol Philippines is encouraging local consumers to support the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) through adopting Pula, the non-profit organization’s adorable bear. The lovely teddy bear is bundled with Lysol’s special Christmas pack, which also includes two units of 340-gram Lysol Disinfectant Spray.
For each purchase of the special holiday-themed pack (now available in supermarkets and other retailers nationwide), Lysol intends to create further awareness about PRC’s efforts. Moreover, the bundle also serves as a timely and practical gift idea for friends and family during this season of giving. It is aimed at reminding everyone to always practice good hygiene to ‘Disinfect to Protect.’
Amid the ongoing pandemic, Lysol continues to advocate greater awareness about the importance of disinfecting the home and the workplace—especially the frequently-touched surfaces. The company also underlines the importance of proper handwashing, which is known to be another necessary practice to eliminate possible Covid-19 infection.
Lysol Philippines and PRC forged a strategic partnership early this year as part of the brand’s goals to boost its ‘Disinfect to Protect’ mission. In May, Lysol donated P36 million to PRC to support the latter’s Covid-19 Samaritan Fund (a project that shoulders processing fees to test Filipinos in indigent communities) and at the same time help fund construction of a testing center in Cagayan de Oro City, which will process up to 2,000 swab tests per day (a facility that was inaugurated in September after being accredited by the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine).
