It aims to push for zero suicide cases and prevent stigma against mental health. It features real-life stories of individuals who have been impacted by the global pandemic and who are being heard via Twitter conversations (using Chat or Spaces).
The most recent #UsapTayo session that was a special collaboration among the three parties generated more than 20 million online impressions. Over 600 people participated in the live discussion.
For its part, Better Today promotes wellness, safe spaces, and effective change-making in the current digital world.
“Our Better Today program serves as a platform for our stakeholders to be part of the conversations on mental health awareness,” said PLDT AVP and Head for Government relations Jose Lukban Rosete. “We recognize that a lot of our stakeholders are our consumers, including today’s youth—our Generation Z (Gen Z). Through Better Today, we are giving stakeholders a chance to go beyond themselves and help out the larger community.”
