Sun Life PH launches newest campaign ‘Bright Like the Sun’

Sun Life Philippines has recently rolled out its latest campaign that further reinforces its commitment to be our ‘partner for life.’ The undisputed No. 1 life insurance company in the country continues to inspire and encourage Filipinos to always look at life with a brighter outlook especially because we all have partners who are there through thick and thin.

Sun Life brand ambassador Piolo Pascual spearheaded the launch of ‘Bright Like the Sun,’ the insurer’s newest campaign that gives inspiration, confidence, and hope. It also celebrates the partner/s we have to make our lives brighter no matter the odds.

“For the past 2 years, we’ve experienced so much that changed our lives. Fortunately, this year, we are seeing bright spots emerging,” said Sun Life Philippines Chief Client Experience and Marketing Officer Carla Gonzales-Chong.

“With more people getting vaccinated, we have regained optimism for the future. We can now see family and friends and we are slowly going back to the office. The lessons from the pandemic give us the confidence to look to the future with hope,” Gonzales-Chong added.

Bright Like the Sun’ has a resonating message that is depicted in a fun and vibrant music video with a song of the same title, performed by singer-songwriter Johnoy Danao. The composition perfectly captures the special bonds in Filipinos’ lives, while still conveying the message of hope and optimism for the future despite the ongoing pandemic.

The music video also highlighted four inspiring life stories that embody the importance of having a reliable partner and how life becomes brighter with partnerships. Those include the heart-warming stories shared by an OFW, a Sun Life employee, a rising entrepreneur, and Pascual himself, who pay tribute to his mom whom he spends more time with during the ongoing pandemic.

Through ‘Bright Like the Sun,’ Sun Life PH is also emphasizing its promise to be a partner for life especially when it comes to meeting financial goals, particularly during the pandemic and other uncertain times.

Bright Like the Sun’ campaign also comes with a lineup of engaging activities—including a TikTok promo wherein participants can stitch Pascual’s video with their own candid moments (together with their partners) to the tune of Danao’s ‘Bright Like the Sun’ song. Each entry will earn a chance to win a special trip for bonding moments with loved ones. TikTok users can create a duet video with Pascual as he renders his own cover of the song.
