Uniqlo announces April 22 launch of Hana Tajima Spring/Summer collection

Uniqlo Philippines has announced the launch of Hana Tajima for Uniqlo 2022 Spring/Summer Dress Collection on April 22, 2022. The unique LifeWear collection from Hana Tajima, a New York-based fashion designer, showcases comfortable and elegant designs reflecting cultural diversity with a global perspective.

“This collection was really an expression of joy and hope,” said Hana Tajima. “I wanted to create a sense of ease and playfulness. A dress should be the simplest things in the world to wear. A single garment that is a look in itself, bold and iconic. The subtle details and fabric texture come to life on the body, move with it. The prints and colors embody that feeling of vitality.”

Hana Tajima for Uniqlo 2022 Spring/Summer collection embodies a simple, yet iconic style. It is the first for Hana Tajima to put a dress lineup for Uniqlo.

The collection for the season presents new dresses that highlight the individuality and expression of each woman when wearing a single garment. The simple and adaptable dresses are best for everyday wear or special occasions, with playful and innovative details to delight women every time they put one on while providing everyday comfort.

The vibrant colors in the collection include deep blue and green inspired by nature. Striking dresses in fabric treated with salt shrinking for greater density and a puffed sleeve design retain a delicate form with lightweight material. Meanwhile, the elegant camisole dresses with flowing hemlines can be paired with shirts or blouses to express the wearer’s individuality. Large stole that can be worn over the shoulders features garden flower patterns to accent any outfit.

The complete collection will be available beginning April 22 at Uniqlo Manila Global Flagship Store and Uniqlo SM Megamall. Those will also be available via the Uniqlo online store. Also check out this special website page.
