The theme of the most recent UT Grand Prix competition was ‘Peanuts’ in celebration of the 100th birth anniversary of the popular comic strip’s creator Charles M. Schulz. The collection showcases takes on the loveable characters from artists around the globe.
The collection comprises seven adult T-shirt designs (worth ₱790 each) and four kids’ T-shirt designs (worth ₱590 each). These will be available in Uniqlo stores nationwide and online via uniqlo.com/ph beginning May 27.

An award ceremony for the T-shirt design contest was held on April 13 at the Snoopy Museum Tokyo in Machida, Tokyo—the only official satellite of the Charles M. Schulz, which is based in Santa Rosa, California. Shulz’s widow, Jean served as a jury member. She delivered congratulatory comments live from Charles M. Schulz Creative Associates in California (located across from the Schulz Museum). Roger Federer sent a video message, while Snoopy and friends presented the prizes.
Members of the distinguished panel of judges for the T-shirt design contest include representatives from the Charles M. Schulz Museum and from the Charles M. Schulz Creative Associates team, along with tennis celebrity and Uniqlo Global Brand Ambassador Roger Federer. The panel selected 11 works from about 14,000 entries worldwide. Prize-winning entries were labors of love, including one blending Snoopy into the border design from the comic strip and another in which characters appear as part of an ice cream cone.
