Cebu Pacific has announced the resumption of flights from Manila to Incheon in South Korea. Beginning August 6, 2020 and every Thursday from then on (until further notice), the airline will fly from Manila to Incheon at 11:55 a.m. via flight 5J 194.
However, no passenger would be allowed to travel on the returning flight—Incheon to Manila. Meanwhile, all other international flights by Cebu Pacific will remain canceled until July 31, 2020.
The one-way Manila to Incheon flights will be Cebu Pacific’s second international route to resume operations amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and since the March 16 lockdown in the Philippines halted domestic and offshore flight schedules of all airlines.
On July 12, 2020, Cebu Pacific resumed weekly flights to Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Flight 5J 18 leaves from Manila to Dubai every Sunday at 6:55 p.m., while Flight 5J 19 returns to Manila from Dubai every Monday at 3:30 a.m. (Dubai time).
